Compound Crops

This year, due to the high food prices, we've made more of our compound available for a Parot Church garden than we have in past years. The sorghum and groundnuts that the church women (with the help of some young people and kids) have planted are doing well, overall. The compound looks quite different with these crops, as those of you who have been here before will see from these pictures. First, view from near the tin shack looking towards the car gate: sorghum on the sides of the car track and groundnuts in the middle triangle.

Looking from the car track towards my house.

Groundnuts in front of the guest house.

Path from the guest house heading towards the "choo" (latrine) and the (former) Wards' house.
