We have some semblance of fall here this time of year. Leaves on some of the trees actually turn yellow and brown and drift down to the ground, making a nice, crunchy layer to walk in. The only thing is, my mind still can't reconcile this with our rather warm daily maximum temperatures of about 37 C/almost 100 F. Without cool, fresh fall air, it's just not the same!

Hi Jan, My name is Kyria & I'm a friend of Katie Myers'. She sent me the link to your blog. I'm headed to West Africa, with the same organization & to the same country that you worked in from what I hear. I'd love to pick your brain...if you wouldn't mind! My email is kyria683@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kyria! Will be in touch.
